La Pernelle, near the church.

In the middle of the village La Pernelle, near the church, on top of the hill you will find the location Wn. 144.
In front of the church, with a special and very beautiful view over the lower country side and looking over the bay towards Le Bourgh de St. Vaast, lies a bunker of type 120a with a copula on top. In front of this position, and now a days fitted as a "viewing point" for the public, lies a Vf observation bunker.

La Pernelle, Prefontainerie Aigremont.

Just a bit outside the village of La Pernelle at the west side, lies this former position.
Drive from the D902 into the road called La Prefontainerie and after 200 meters you will see in the meadow mostly some bunker remains.
Most of the bunkers are demolished partly, or heavily damaged and overgrown, so it is hard to see and to determine what type of bunkers they were.

5x Vf shelter.
1x Gun emplacement.

La Pernelle, at the stone pit.

Between the top of location number Wn 144 and the lower location number Wn. 148 lies a bunker on the yard and on top of a remaining wall of the stone pit.
On the yard lies a piece of a ST-bunker, but we don't have any idea of what type it could be. The other one can tumble down any moment, because the people of the stone pit excavated most of the stones and ground around the bunker.

La Pernelle, radar location.
AOK 7, KVA J1, KV.Gr. Cotentin Ost, KVU.Gr. Barfleur, Luftwaffe Station B7, Wn. 162.

On one of the hills behind the village of La Pernelle, at the former Luftwaffe Station B7 "Bernadine", lies the foundation for an enormous radar installation, that could been turned around almost 360 degrees.
The radar, type FuG120, was 25x25 meters with a total weight of 75 tons and could "look" over a distance of more than 400 km's.
